Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) After purchasing "The Gates Of Omega" by Moongarden, I urgently needed some more Cristiano Roversi, so I decided to get the first "Submarine Silence" album right now. Just look at the artwork, quite obviously designed by Paul Whitehad, and listen to the opening track "The Door", a short Yamaha CP-70 solo in the purest Tony Banks tradition - and you know what Cristiano Roversi and David Cremoni are up to here. This album is a sincere homage to the Genesis & Co. sound of the 70's - straightforward, without any attempt to hide the inspirational source, similar to the "Unifaun" project by Nad Sylvan and Christian "Bonamici" Thordin. It's not revolutionary at all, but perfect in the authentic continuation of a splendid musical heritage. I just love it! Favorite track: Winter glows.
