Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Symphonic rock from Estonia? Cool... the first such item in my collection! All except the last three tracks are designed as a sci-fi/fantasy suite, completely produced on the advanced Ensoniq SD-1 wavetable synthesizer/sequencer, demonstrating impressively the fat sound and rich capabilities of this vintage keyboard, suited ideally for one-man bands like Slava Petsnikov "Gulliver". The "Metarmophosis" sonata adds solo violin - a real one - to the SD-1, performed with virtuosity by Andrew Valigura. Favorite track: Blue atoll.
